Nichole and Taylor Stoffers are parents and storytellers who believe in encouraging wonder through imagination, adventure and meaningful connection through storytelling. Inspired by time outdoors and nightly bedtime stories with their children, they created the world of Melvin the Moose to encourage friendship, bravery, curiosity and a love for nature in young readers.

They reside in California with their two children, where family adventures, nature walks, and storytelling continue to inspire the tales of Piney Lake, a real alpine lake that helped bring Melvin's world to life.
